"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Grant at the age of 87 on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 60 years, Colleen McDonald; children Juan, Natalie (Glen), Judy (Ross), Connie (Boyd), Lee (Tara) and Steven (Sandra); grandchildren Sarah, Zoe, Justin, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Lara, Ryan, Rachel and Brendan; his sister, Yvette (Oliver), his brother, Ray (Flora); his sister-in-law, Joyce (late David); and many other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his sister Betty (late Lawrence) and his brother David (Joyce).
The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 28, at 10:00 am at St-Patrick’s church in Douglastown, with visitation on Friday, May 27, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday, May 28, at 9:00 am - 9:50 am."
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Valère Fortin Funeral Home in Gaspé, a subsidiary of the HG Division network awarded DIstinction by the Corporation of Thanatologists of Québec and BNQ-certified by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.
HG Division management and staff offer their deepest condolences to the family and thank them for their trust.
